We decided to start the day off riding a double-decker bus around London to see the sights. The busses are always circling so you can jump off anywhere you want to explore more.

There are so many incredible buildings.

I thought we lived in bridge-city, but our bus wove us back and forth over so many bridges (Albert, Chelsea, Westminster, Waterloo, Blackfriars, London, Tower Bridge, and many more we didn’t cross!).

We jumped off in Westminster to eat lunch and explore. There were tons of protesters in this area with bullhorns shouting at the House of Commons. We didn’t stay long.

After lunch, Eli and Addie both wanted to do their own thing. Eli took off on a run along the riverfront. Addie went on an epic shopping trip for more than 3 hours haha. So Dami and I were happy to relax on a river site seeing cruise.

The cruise gave us some great views of the Tower of London, first built in the 9th century. From the river you could see the [now bricked-up] “traitors gate” where they would transport prisoners into the tower.

Turns out that every gift shop here has customized items just for us!
