5 people in our group won the $5000 NT lottery! It’s an incentive offered by the Taiwan tourism bureau to encourage travel.

14 hour flight is finally over. I saw a few kids sleep a bit, but most played cards and kept the stewards busy asking them to quiet down. It was fun getting every kid to fill out their arrival cards for customs. I think everyone just learned their nationality.

One kid left their passport on the plane when we deplaned, but we narrowly escaped disaster. The cleaners found it! They’re working on a dance routine while we wait for the big flight. Looks like some kids got lunch, and others just ate snacks and pocketed the money.
