It’s Monday morning. The kids have all arrived back from their homestays for one last day of activities with the high school.
We all loaded on to a tour bus and headed to Yangmingshan Elementary School to do some lessons with the younger schoolchildren. The school sits high above Taipei with a beautiful view of the city below.
We all gathered in a gymnasium and broke into groups, each with a cluster of elementary school kids.
They were learning about habitat restoration, water resource management, protecting animal migrations, etc.
In between sections, a group would come up to present their learnings.
It took a bit for everyone to warm up to each other but by the end they were all talking.
Obligatory group photo and then we loaded up to head further up into the mountains for some hiking.
